In January of 2022, I began leveling the site where I would build my backyard studio. I set out to construct a space where I would be inspired to focus, create, and work.
I had absolutely no idea how to build a 10x12 building, but I took it in stages. From leveling floor, to framing the walls, to setting the roof, to sanding the final interior, I learned as I went. And somehow, I walked away from it with all my fingers and toes.
I am incredibly proud to work in this space that I have built, and thankful to do some of my best work in it every day.
